Manufacturing
We offer a full manufacturing service carried out on our UK site. Our products (private label and own range) are all made by hand and are safely packed for dispatch. We follow strict health and safety and quality control procedures to make sure that out products both bespoke and own range are to the highest of quality.
The order process time depends on the products and the complexity of the formulations - we will always advise you accordingly amd keep you fully updated throughout the process.
Products
We have been developing cosmetics and formulations for over 20 years, working with a with a wide variety of clients including retail shops, hotels, lifestyle brands, spas, baby range companies and online businesses.
Several high end department stores have chosen Plantain Cosmetic Innovations as their preferred manufacturer for several large product ranges.
We create and manufacture only the purest of natural, organic and certified skincare products for the body, face and hair. For Women, men and babies.
Testing
If you would like to develop your own private label range to launch onto the European Market, you must make sure that it conforms to European cosmetic standards.
The testing procedure is an important part of the development process and can take up to six months to complete.
The process guarantees that your products are safe to use for the purpose intended along with a stated shelf life.
This process will also include a detailed cosmetic product safety report. You will then need to list your product on the European cosmetic portal.
We work closely with a leading UK laboratory and as part of the product development process we can manage all aspects of testing for you.
Packaging
Deciding on your packaging is an impotant aspect of creating and branding your own range.
How you design your products will have a big impact on how they are noticed in the cosmetic market.
Sometimes we will advise clients to choose simple packaging to start with but with a standout design. If you look on the shelves at some major cosmetic brands you will notice that they keep their packaging straight forward, making it cheaper to produce, but with a stand out design to catch the customers eye.
